We would like to share our thoughts about how you can present yourself to the Lord when you attend our service. We want to encourage everyone to be modest, but comfortable. We don't mind jeans and a t-shirt or something more formal. We are much more interested in sharing the gospel instead of ideas of fashion.
We want everyone to feel welcome not awkward, so we do not have attitudes to protect our seats. You are welcome to sit wherever you would like when you enter the chapel. No one takes offense to where you sit. Be sure to watch for information on the digital screens up front as you wait for service to begin.
When you enter the chapel you may be greeted by someone that will offer you a smile and a bulletin.
If you want you can stop just inside the door and look to your left. Here you will notice a bathroom and also an information table. You can investigate the table to see if there is anything you would like to know more about or pick up and use.
We usually have candy, coffee, pens, additional supportive literature and sign up sheets for upcoming events located in this spot. At this time we are sorry to say we do not have an active nursery with workers.
You can find a classroom on the lower level that will allow you to sit quietly with your baby or infant, if a moment arises. Our staff does teach children K-6th in the lower level during Sunday School and active learning time.
Our service starts at 11 and usually ends approx. 12:15. Our worship team will lead us with three songs before the pastor starts his sermon. The lyrics will be displayed on the screens if you would like to join in. After worship has ended the children will be encouraged to go to the stairway and join others from K-6th grade, to attend the active learning classes downstairs. After we hear scripture from the holy bible presented by Pastor Buster Liford, the worship team will return to the stage for a quiet performance during the alter call/benediction.
The tithes and offering are collected before we dismiss.
We offer envelopes tucked into pockets that are directly in front of your seat, if needed. Please know that we do not expect our new visitors to feel the pressure of giving.
You will also see a post card that is designed to let you share some information about yourself, if you want us to reach out to you for a personal connection
